David Wright brings thirty years of restaurant and catering experience to his position as Catering Director of Juban’s Creole Restaurant & Caterer. He began in 1982 bussing tables for a local family restaurant in north Louisiana. While attending college, he worked in various restaurants as a waiter and a line cook, eventually working his way to kitchen manager as well as assisting in catering events in the Shreveport-Bossier City area. Needles to say, David fell in love with the restaurant business.
Being in charge of Juban’s catering division since 2000; David Wright has directed many notable events including the LSU Law School’s Centennial Dinner for 750 guests, Big Buddy’s Dancing with the Stars for 600 guests, and Forum 35 Viva il Vino dinner for 350 guests. David has also planned and directed countless weddings, wedding receptions, and rehearsal dinners. He has catered numerous corporate and social events, both at Juban’s and at off-site venues and homes, bringing his own uniquely inspired sense of taste and aesthetics to the décor for events.
Personally, David is a true animal lover, an avid gardener and artist. He believes in Louisiana cuisine made from fresh, seasonal, locally grown and sustainable ingredients
